Joe Belfiore’s back and Microsoft hold #MicrosoftEDU event; What’re the odds of that happening?

So, 2 big thing in 1 day! Joe Belfiore the man behind the Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile is back to work at Microsoft. Belfiore was on a long vacation with his family and now he’s back to work.

As per the Twitter description of Joe Belfiore, he runs a team building Phone/Tablet/PC versions of Windows. But according to a report from Mashable, Joe doesn’t have a title at the moment since he just came back to work. But according source and some reports he could be the man behind the Windows Cloud.

Windows Cloud is nothing but the special edition of the Windows 10. It is specially designed for the education purpose by targeting students. It is company’s next move to take on the Google’s Chrome OS. And for that Microsoft was working on a new hardware.

Earlier this week we’ve seen a report that Microsoft to hold a Spring hardware event for focus on the Windows Cloud. And today they actually officially announced the event. And in addition earlier this morning Joe Belfiore tweeted:

So we might see him at this spring hardware event. The Spring hardware event is happening early next month — on May 2nd. It will be live streamed online, you can catch it at 9:30 am Eastern Time.

Although we might not see a new Surface Book nor Surface Pro 5 at the event but we’ll see a new Surface category hardware. It might be affordable mid-range device featuring Windows Cloud. Stay tune to Amaziness for more updates.

So returning of Joe Belfiore and Spring announcement on same day; What’re the odds of that happening?
