#MSBuild 2017 Day 2: Everything you need to know

So the second day of the Build 2017 event was much excited for the Windows lovers. We heard plenty of Windows 10 related announcements. Here’s everything you need to know so far.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Microsoft officially announced the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update aka the Redstone 3. The Fall Creators Update packs with the lots of new features and enhancements over the last public version which is Creators Update. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will bring the My People app, more productive Cortana, Timeline, Project NEON, Windows Story Remix and more! The update is scheduled for the late September 2017. Windows Insiders will soon get these features in upcoming preview builds.

Project NEON / Fluent Design Language

Microsoft officially announced the new Fluent Design Language codenamed Project NEON. It is the new design language from the Microsoft. It builds upon the design language introduced with Windows 10. It basically contains 5 elements of design system: Light, Depth, Motion, Material, Scale. With the help of the new Fluent Design Language Microsoft to completely redesign the Windows 10.

Windows Story Remix

The Windows Story Remix is an Universal Windows Platform app which will allow you to edit your videos so easily and efficiently. The Windows Story Remix app will have an ability to switch up the automatically created videos based on data. In order to create a elegant story the app uses Microsoft Graph to automatically create Memories from your photos and videos which you can share as a video with different cinematic transitions, soundtracks, themes and more. (In latest Insider Preview update the app is available)

Timeline feature

This is the most exciting feature coming with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The all new Timeline feature would make it easier to keep track of things on which you are working on. Basically this feature will essentially be a visual timeline of what apps you’re working on in your PC.

Microsoft announces .NET Standard 2.0 for UWP and XAML Standard.

OneDrive Files On-Demand finally coming back with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Microsoft announces motion controllers support for Windows Mixed Reality devices.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to bring a new way of storytelling.

SUSE Linux and Fedora Linux now supported on Windows Subsystem for Linux.
