An update for Google Allo is on the way with new features
As you know that Google finally rolled out next generation messaging application Google Allo. But is it really next generation? Really it’s next messaging app dominant? Go ahead. Take your time and think about it.
Hmm! It’s not only me who is thinking this. But so many people pointed out that its lack of features. And mainly people really scarce interest in switching to a different app. Have you ever switched your messaging application? Well, I know the answer. Anyway, Let’s make it straight.
When Google Allo launched Justin Uberti the Principal Engineer of Google; technical leader for Duo and co-lead for Allo said “And a special 👍 to those who asked for a feature, but understood that Allo v1 is just that: a 1.0 product that will improve every few weeks.” on Twitter. Ding ding ding.
That means Google is already working on new features in Google Allo. Some of them will soon arrive in next update. But the question is what are they?
Well, word of mouth. Take a look at your current primary messaging app and Google Allo. Which biggest feature missing. Voice calling right? Don’t worry Justin Uberti already making a list of upcoming features in Google Allo and it’s on the top of the list. Go ahead and tell him.

Okay great. But what about video you might think. Don’t worry Google Duo integration in Google Allo is also on the way. Which new features in Google Allo are you hoping? Let us know in a comment below.
It completely seems that just stickers and text-resizing-on-the-go features, has pretty much nothing compelling enough to convince people to switch to it. In addition I was hoping that desktop client. But so far there is no sigh for it. This app can’t go so far no matter how intelligent Google Assistant is.
