Nokia’s Way Back into Smartphone Market: Nokia 6 Android Nougat 7.0 Goes Official, Nokia E1 First Specs Leaks
A few months ago, it was rumored that Nokia would be coming back to the smartphone market with its Nokia Android smartphones, and thing is becoming true.
Nokia Android Smartphones Coming
The Nokia way back is marked by the official launch of Nokia coming with Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. Though it has no official images of the upcoming Nokia 6, there is a leaked video on Android Police showing that could be the mentioned device which has the fingerprint scanner on the front.
It is confirmed that the Nokia 6 smartphone will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat, and that the company will be releasing this device in the first 6 months of 2017.
Nokia 6 Launch with Android Nougat 7.0
The device will come with a 5.5 inch Full HD display screen at resolution of 1080 x 1920 px. Nokia 6 has Snapdragon 430 processor alongside with a Adreno graphics card of 505 GPU. It also has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Nokia 6 will have a back snapper of 16MP and a front selfie for 8MP. As mentioned above, the phone does support for fingerprint scanner and Quick Charge 3.0 for the battery quick boost. The handset will be available at an amazing price of $245 in the US.
Nokia E1 Leaks
The rumor mills keep on revealing about the new Nokia Android Smartphones including the Nokia 6 Android 7.0 Nougat and another one also coming with Nougat OS out of the box- Nokia E1.
Based on the leaks, we might know that the Nokia E1 might be coming as an entry level phone with less powerful high specs as the Nokia 6.
Nokia E1 will come with a smaller display screen of 5.2 or 5.3 inches which has resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Hardware-wise, the Nokia E1 has a Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at speed of 1.4 GHz and paired with a 2 GB of RAM. You will get an Adreno 308 graphics in comparison with the 505 in the Nokia 6. The internal storage is just 16GB with an ability for expendable external storage from the microSD slot.
The camera specs show that the phone will have a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP lens for front shooter. Even coming out as the entry level smartphone, the Nokia E1 will also be running on the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
Even though there is no specific info about the price of the phone, it is expected to be lower in price in comparison to the $245 Nokia 6 that would be sold in China market.
