Redmi Note 4 Coming to India – Snapdragon 625, Camera 13MP, 3GB of RAM, and More
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the successor mid-range in the Chinese market which comes out with MediaTek Helio X20 processor. Thing is the Indian version of the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC.
Chinese and Indian smartphone market are mostly mentioned in different revenue reports since these are the biggest markets where half of the world population reside.
Xiaomi has another plan on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 manufactured for the Indian market. The current Redmi Note 4 (Chinese version) sports a Helio X20 processor clocked at speed of 2.1 GHz and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The phone has 2 variants of 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 64GB of internal storage. Both of the variants can have expendable internal memory via microSD and both have dual SIM support.
Now, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is heading to the India with changes in the device’s specs. Hardware-wise the Redmi Note 4 in India will have a new Snapdragon 625 SoC processor clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz, and this is paired up with an Adreno 506 GPU.
Similar to the Chinese version, the Redmi Note 4 Indian version will still get a 5.5 inch FHD display screen, 2 options for RAM of 2GB or 3GB. However, there is a possibility the internal storage options might have 16GB as base model, other models might be at 32GB or 64GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 for Indians still have a 13MP primary snapper together with a 5MP lens for selfies. The phone will have a same battery unit of 4100 mAh with fast charging technology support. The phone will come with Android Marshmallow out of the box. However, an Android Nougat update is expected to come later on.
