Samsung Galaxy S5 Sprint Locked Version Gets Android Security Patch
The OTA update version for Samsung Galaxy S5 build number G900PVPU3CPL2 has been released. This time Sprint brings the Security updates to the handset with December security patch, not yet the January one.
Security patch via OTA Update
The build version of G900PVPU3CPL2 will get the security patch via a OTA update. Samsung Galaxy S5 at Sprint will receive the Android Security fix for December update patch. Sprint has not yet released any official announcement over this update. But the update file is around 237MB, which might contain some additional features, bug fixes as well as system improvements.
Furthermore, the update also has the Security Maintenance Release alongside with the patches for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures.

After you’ve got the Kies installed, get to connect the desktop and Galaxy S5 using a USB cable then keep following the instructions by Smart Switch on the screen to finish the updating process.
