Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Android 7.0 Nougat Update Probably Next Week
Many are excited about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Android Nougat update news, and yet another leak has just come with the possible Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S7, S7 Edge.
Like the other smartphone manufactures of HTC, LG, Motorola, and even OnePlus, Samsung seems quite busy with the latest Android OS update to their devices.
An unconfirmed source has just revealed the report of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Android Nougat update might start from January 17. The beta Nougat program was initially released a few months ago, and ended last December even though there is a news that some devices in China are still having the 6th beta version.
If the user of a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge’s claim is to believe, Samsung Galaxy S7 Android 7.0 Nougat update to stable channel might be rolled out next week. The leak seems to show that the model number of SM-G935F is what will be in the update. This means Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge users in Europe countries might have chance to get the update earlier.
According to the leak, it seems that the sibling Galaxy S7 will be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update, not yet for the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat as what Samsung previously confirmed. But remember that these are not the official info about the update.
As mentioned in those before info about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Android Nougat update, the company might want to release and update to the stable version of the Android Nougat OS as soon as the Galaxy Beta Program end. The possible timing is said to be this January, and there is no specific time and date mentioned.
If we’ve take a look back on the Android Nougat update across the OEMs, then Samsung Galaxy S7 flagships are not yet getting the update to its done. Other companies like LG G6, LG V20 (coming with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box), HTC-Bolt, Huawei P9, Huawei Mate 9, OnePlus 3/3T, Moto Z and Moto G4 are already having the treat of Android 7.0 Nougat
