Snapchat Stories-like feature coming to WhatsApp

Billion user application WhatsApp continuously bringing new features. After bringing the Video calling features in it they are working on a new feature. Yes I am talking about stories in WhatsApp.

Recently WhatsApp bring the ability to edit pictures before sending them. The UI of it quite similar to Snapchat. And also the much waited Video Calling feature finally available in WhatsApp.

Now according to a WABetaInfo the company is currently testing a new Status tab in their Android app which would allow users to create a time line similar to Snapchat stories. Since WhatsApp is owned by Facebook. And Facebook is following along the footsteps of Instagram. Instagram also bring the story feature. So why not WhatsApp?

Well, the fun part is that, WhatsApp working very smoothly on all platform whether it is Windows or Android or iOS. The Instagram is quite laggy and there is no hope of Snapchat for Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile.

Here’s the leaked screenshot of stories in WhatsApp in Android variant.
