Hello and Welcome to the Amaziness Microsoft Weekly 19 of the week Jul 18 to Jul 24. In this Microsoft Weekly we have number of news about Microsoft. In this week Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393 for PC and mobile both, Skype Universal Windows app rolled out for Mobile, Xbox one coming on August 2, App Analysis tool released and more. So let’s get started.

Xbox One S coming on August 2

Earlier in this week Microsoft announced big news about it’s upcoming Xbox console. Yes you right. If you already pre-ordered Xbox One S, it will arrive at your home on August 2! (in selected regions) Xbox One S originally announced at the E3 2016. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the existing model of Xbox One console. And this console comes with HDR and 4K video support, among other new features. And this is the first console that support the 4K video. If you didn’t pre-order then you can do it on Microsoft Store, Amazon or Best Buy. Moving right along!

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393

Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393. Build 14393 is released for both PC and Mobile for the Insider in the Fast ring.Windows 10 Insider Preview build 14393 includes a handful of new fixes. And as usual no new feature since the Anniversary update is near. This build fixed battery drain issue on several Lumia devices such as Lumia 535, 640, 735, 830, 930 and Icon. And we can now able to mount iPods as USB mass-storage devices.

Skype UWP rolled out for W10M

Well, finally after removing messaging everywhere functionality from the Anniversary Update; Microsoft announced rolled out Skype universal platform app for Mobile devices. Preview app have many functionality such as free group video call, talk face-to-face with a 1:1 call, share photos, emoticons and Mojis to liven up your conversation, quick reply and more. And also Microsoft promise that the SMS integration will arrive later this summer. App Analysis Tool in Project Islandwood

Microsoft announced another exciting tool under the Project Islandwood. As we know that Microsoft working very actively to bring the iOS app to the Windows store. Under the project they releases the App Analysis tool. This is a web-based tool. Developers can use this newly launched App Analysis tool to get a breakdown of what parts of your app are compatible with the bridge immediately. Basically it informs that how much work you need to do make your UWP app from your iOS app.

Microsoft also released Windows 10 Insider build 14393.3 as a Cumulative Update for Windows Insider which fixed an issue causing Store apps to stop launching due to a licensing issue.
